Field Trip Day on the Farm

Blog

We recently hosted a small group of homeschoolers to a Field Trip day at our farm. It was a big day that started out with a talk on farm safety given by Joelle. She discussed the importance of being “seen” by farmers and learning how to react when you hear machinery coming.

Ronnie surprised the kids with a “BIG” entrance with the combine as we discussed harvest. Jared walked them through hay baling and the machinery involved in our farm operations. The kids even got to feed the cattle! A quick trailer ride to the back soybean field allowed for some “hands-on” learning about crops.

We were thrilled to share our farm with them!
